Routine dental examinations, also known as check-ups, are essential for maintaining a healthy smile. They allow your dentist to assess your oral health to see if you need any treatment. Your dentist will assess your general oral health, use some non-invasive investigatory techniques to determine gum health and take periodic x-rays.

Your examinations will take place every six months and are essential to aid in keeping your mouth healthy and to make sure any issues are dealt with as soon as possible – or prevent them altogether. Remember, it’s much easier to prevent problems, than it is to cure them.
